SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it is alarmed regarding the superior range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach sassa status check Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office focused on service the area daily. The company issue produced for intervention encounters a large influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA sassa status will mobilise far more sources to enable the servicing of sassa all clients and increase usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
